The sacrifices of Canadian Veterans in WWI, WWII and the Korean and Afghanistan Wars have given all Canadians the rights and freedoms we enjoy today.

This year marks the 75th anniversary of the Italian Campaign and remembers the more than 93,000 Canadians who served in the liberation of Italy- a year and a half battle where some of our own Westmount High alumni died.

On the poster and postcards in the lobby you will see Lieutenant (retd) Maxine Llewelyn Bredt—a Nursing Sister in the Royal Canadian Army Medical Corps who helped treat the sick and wounded during the Italian Campaign.

You can write a message on one of the postcards to say thank you to those who served Canada in times of war, military conflict and peace or to still-serving Canadian Armed Forces members.
